It is a comprehensive hospital of the second class, with 215 workers, among which 12 are with high title, 34 with middle title. It has 73 sets of equipment, each of which is worth more than ten thousand Yuan RMB, with 30 million Yuan RMB of net assets, 25,000 persons came for clinic on average per year in the past five years, 2500 persons are in hospital per year. Chen Jie hospital of Rugao has its gross income of 30 million Yuan RMB in 2003. Now it has already formed its main characteristic advantage in liver diseases treatment, liver tumour treatment, reaching the leading level in the area of Nantong.

④ Central Hospitals

8 central hospitals separately lie in 8 districts of the central town. All of them are the first class hospital, with 80-90 workers on average. Middle-and-high-ranking technic personnel account for 20%. They have 73 sets of equipment, each of which is worth more than ten thousand Yuan RMB, with 3-7 million Yuan RMB of net assets on average, They each have a gross income of 4,500,000 Yuan RMB on average in the past five years.

11 municipal level hospitals above can be transferred for private non-commercial hospital or profitable hospital, by means of reform or combination.

⑤ Construction Projects of Second class Comprehensive Hospitals in Rugao

We plan to build the medical health centers of pluralism of second first rate. These centers are specialized in anti-ageing, dispelling inferior health, traveling health care, combined with basical treatment, scientific research, and medicine production as an organic whole. These centers spread the wide hinterland of the low reaches of the Chang Jiang River, serving a large number of the high and stable income colony in the developed areas. This project can be implemented by stages as the scale of investment is considered. The first stage of investment is above 80 million Yuan RMB.
